AGM & Trail Day

When: Sat, Oct 14th: 9:30 am - 1 pm
Where: Den Dufy Park
Details: The 2023 PVTA AGM is taking place at the Den Duyf Park. We will kick things off with a brief synopsis of the year led by our President Kyle Leitch accompanied by breakfast brought to you by TBA. After a coffee and pastry time to head out on trail. Your choice to run/walk/MTB/Horseback ride or choose to shuttle up with Pemberton’s very own lead Trail Builder Darren Nicoll to do trail work on a trail project TBA.
Treats: Start your morning off right! The PVTA will provide drinks and snacks and a post event BBQ!
What to bring: yourself + your friends! Work gloves, sturdy footwear, outdoor gear, water, extra trail snacks.

Where: Blackbird Bakery
Details: A call to continue with the Tour de Soo extension South - Phase 2 project. Come join us to help re-open up this old section of trail which will eventually connect the gravel pit on the 99 to Pemberton once again. This section is a skinny blue single track which due to the nature of the terrain will be fun for hikers, not so interesting for bikers and most likely unsuitable for equestrian use, i.e. hiking trail.
Treats: Start your morning off right! The PVTA will support Blackbird Bakery and pay for a free snack and drink of your choice + a lucky dip to win some sweet PVTA merch !!

Details: A trail day focussed towards the equestrian, hiking and running community. The plan is to open up the overgrown old Tour de Soo trail that leads south towards Nairn Falls: link

Details: Trail day to replace the old Let it Go bridge with dirt work and rock armouring
Treats: Post trail work - food and drinks on us!

Fun: Social ride back down on your favourite trail to the Mackenzie parking lot for a post event bbq

Details: Come join us for this special Trail User Expo which encourages event goers the opportunity to connect with their sports groups and mix together amongst their community with a free Pancake Breakfast catered for by the PVTA. After that we will head out on trail for trail maintenance as per previous years with guidance from our lead Trail Manager Darren Nicoll. We wish to invite all trail user groups and trails builders to get together, share experiences and have fun out on the trails.
