4/29/2022

Update: No further logging will take place in this area as of June 2022.

Lil’wat Nation / Lil’wat Forestry Ventures, through their First Nation Woodland Licence have started harvesting in the Railroad Creek area. The harvesting areas are accessed via the Old Hurley Mainline.  The bottom of the old Hurley Mainline, where it branches off the Upper Lillooet River FSR, will be signed to warn recreation users of active operations. Also the junction of the Hurley FSR and the Tenquille Branch (10km on the Hurley) will be signed to warn recreation users of downslope harvesting activities. This round of harvesting started April 18th and is expected to run until mid-June.  Please respect the signs and stay safe!
